Maya Mathias invited to a royal lunch
On 26 April 2023, GreenKidz founder Maya Mathias, along with 99 other invited guests, took part in a royal lunch at the Huis ten Bosch palace in The Hague. The festive lunch marked King Willem Alexan- der’s ten-year reign and put 100 individuals from the Kingdom in the limelight for their commitment to society. Mathias: ‘It was a very spe- cial experience to have lunch with the king and a wonderful recogni- tion of what our GreenKidz Foundation has achieved over the past eight years.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
