GreenKidz and Avila join forces in creating reef care awareness
On June 21, 2023, GreenKidz presented its Coral Heroes program at the Avila Beach Hotel. Through engaging presentations, interactive games, and imaginative craft activities, 19 students from Group 7 of Klein College were educated about the beauty and uniqueness of Curaçao’s coral reefs and how to appreciate them in a responsible manner.

GreenKidz is delighted that starting in 2023, Avila Beach Hotel is committed to fostering a sustainable sponsorship partnership. Under this arrangement, the hotel will provide the foundation with a fixed annual contribution. In return, the hotel will host both regular and special school sessions dedicated to the Coral Heroes lesson at least twice a year.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
