GreenKidz visits afterschool program
On July 13th the GreenKidz team was invited by K’alegria Vakantieplan to execute their new mosquito prevention program. The youth leaders of this vacation program for children in de Bonam area of Curacao were thrilled to actively participate in the program and assist the GreenKidz teaching team.
The 30 children enjoyed all the activities and the mosquito hunt in the back yard tremendously and the leaders of the vacation program asked GreenKidz to visit them again in the coming fall to execute the GreenKidz program on litter and waste program as preparation for the world cleanup day that is organized every year in the third week of October.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations‘. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
