GreenKidz Participates Again in World Clean Up Day

On September 16, 2023, GreenKidz guest lecturer, Remyson Caldera, once again participated in the annual World Clean Up Day. This year’s event saw the involvement of over 2,000 volunteers. Alongside a team of passionate young individuals, Remyson took to the mondi to clear away litter, contributing to a cleaner Curaçao.

GreenKidz has been actively participating in clean-up activities with students from foundational and secondary education since 2015. Leading up to this year’s annual clean-up day, GreenKidz provided engaging interactive lessons to the VSBO in Parera, which operates under the school board of the VPCO (Association for Protestant Christian Education).
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
