GreenKidz Starts Fundraising for Vulnerable Children

Next year, the GreenKidz Foundation will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The foundation will mark this milestone with a mini-documentary reflecting on the past and looking to the future, as well as an educational and carefree children’s party for vulnerable children.

In close collaboration with the Federation of Antillean Youth Care (FAJ), 120 to 240 children from shelters, boarding schools, foster families, care institutions, and low-income neighborhoods will be approached through their institutions and community centers for a unique children’s event at the Curaçao Children’s Museum. Fundraising for this event has started this month.

GreenKidz Creator Maya Mathias is delighted by the collaboration with FAJ and the Curaçao Children’s Museum, which she finds enriching and complementary. Mathias states:
*”Over the past 10 years, we’ve reached thousands of children with green guest lessons in primary, special, and secondary education.

In the coming decade, we hope, together with FAJ and the Children’s Museum, to also organize fun green activities from the museum for children facing complex home and care situations. These children truly deserve to be celebrated. This perfectly aligns with our vision of diversity and inclusion!”*
