GreenKidz active on SDG action week
GreenKidz participated in the 5th edition of SDG Action Week on Thursday evening, September 19, 2024. The event, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development (MEO), focused on the theme “Protecting Life & Environment.”
The GreenKidz team, consisting of Remyson Caldera, Max Tellings, Tysha Jeeno, and Mokisha Farrell, manned an information and children’s corner. Citizens and tourists could receive information, while children engaged in games and creative activities. GreenKidz also spoke to a television station and several members of Parliament. They were honored to be part of SDG Week and are excited about future collaborations with MEO on sustainable, innovative, and digital projects.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
