GreenKidz Explores Collaboration with Curaçao Children’s Museum

Over the past year, GreenKidz has held multiple meetings with the director of the Curaçao Children’s Museum and collaborated successfully on their highly acclaimed fundraising event, ‘Day of Play’. Both parties are currently exploring ways to work together more sustainably in the future based on a win-win strategy.

Both GreenKidz and the Curaçao Children’s Museum have enthusiastic teams of volunteers who can complement each other beautifully, sharing knowledge and skills. The two organizations also share a vision that emphasizes playful, interactive, and inquiry-based learning, and both have developed highly successful programs for local education.

For 2025, GreenKidz coordinator Maya Mathias and Children’s Museum manager Rohani du Pont are exploring whether they can collaborate more sustainably, for example, on a project for special education. Maya Mathias is also delighted that the GreenKidz Foundation will celebrate its 10th anniversary in April 2025 at the stunning central location of Rooi Catootje, where the Children’s Museum is situated.
