On May 9, 2025, GreenKidz celebrated its tenth anniversary with over 100 sponsors, partners, and ambassadors at the Curaçao Children’s Museum. The foundation not only looked back on its achievements but also looked forward to its new partnership with the Curaçao Children’s Museum.

After a joint start with a GreenKidz quiz, a speech by GreenKidz creator Maya Mathias, and a toast to the future with champagne, guests wrote down their greatest wishes for the GreenKidz foundation on special wish cards and visitors split up into smaller groups to participate in a unique, interactive program.

Lively program

They rotated between three fun and lively activities. In the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, they enjoyed the premiere of the GreenKidz anniversary documentary “Giving Back, Moving Forward,” took a tour of the Children’s Museum, and purchased art at a silent auction featuring three local artists.

Working with vulnerable children

In its first decade from 2025 to 2025, GreenKidz received a lot of support from donors, sponsors, funds, and service clubs and worked together with a large number of inspiring partners. Together with FAJ, GreenKidz hopes that in the coming decade it will not only reach schools with green guest lessons, but also vulnerable children who attend after-school programs at the Children’s Museum.
