Working with Rotary in the wider Caribbean
After 3 wonderful and hugely successful GreenKidz Caribbean projects funded by Rotary Club of Curaçao we were visited by two Rotary district govenors this week representing more than 25 caribbean countries.
After an inspiring brainstorm we decided to investigate together how to create hybrid green educational materials in 3 languages through Rotary for kids and schools in the greater Caribbean and apply for global grants !!!!
As a foundation we are feeling excited and grateful that we might get the chance to reach students and schools in de wider Caribbean, thanks to Rotary and especially our own 2 Rotary Clubs on Curaçao who have both been of long time support.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’ In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
