GreenKidz launches Hofi Mango project for schools on Banda Bou
April 16, 2023 saw the kick off of the new GreenKidz project “Trees are important and special. The inquisitive lesson for 20 children from Willibrordus and Jan Kok started at the Willibrordus sports complex and ended at Hofi Mango with a tour of the fairytale mango forest and an inspiring meet & greet with Jandino Asporaat.

The GreenKidz trees project will soon be rolled out across all regular and special schools of Banda Bou, which will also include a beautiful multilingual activity book ‘The Trees of Hofi Mango’ with stories of resilience and freedom, coloring pages, recipes and games
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
