GreenKidz Launches Christmas Crafting Workshop
On November 22, 2023, guest lecturer Remyson Caldera from GreenKidz conducted two new GreenKidz Christmas crafting workshops for the students of classes 4a and 4b at Margaretha College. Fifty-eight children aged 7 and 8 participated in various interactive and educational activities where they learned more about litter, waste, plastic, and recycling.

The workshop concluded with a creative art assignment where students made beautiful Christmas decorations by reusing plastic bottle caps. GreenKidz looks forward to conducting many more educational and creative Christmas activities about plastic and recycling for local schoolchildren, so they can learn from a young age how to recycle or repurpose waste and litter into beautiful artworks.
The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
