In 2024, GreenKidz entered into a fruitful and sustainable collaboration with the Rotary Club Curacao (RCC). As part of this collaboration, RCC supports various GreenKidz lessons throughout the year by providing and organizing transportation. This is facilitated through the Rotary bus project, which transports students in a beautiful tourist bus to their GreenKidz activity.

On January 17, 2024, the GreenKidz Coral Heroes workshop took place at Avila Beach Hotel. For this event, 30 students from the Divi Divi school, a special education school in Emmastad, were picked up in a magnificent luxury tourist bus provided by Taber Tours. They were promptly delivered to the Avila Beach Hotel for their lesson on the coral reef in Curacao.

After the 2-hour lesson, the children were returned to their school as tourists in their own country. GreenKidz is incredibly pleased with this collaboration, as arranging transport for GreenKidz lessons is often an expensive and time-consuming affair. RCC is also happy with the new partnership because it gives the school outings a beautiful educational character.

Both organizations are thus excited to start the year by supporting each other. GreenKidz will ask RCC to transport students from special and regular education to the hotels and nature parks where GreenKidz provides its lesson programs. If this collaboration is successful, the partnership will be continued in the coming years by mutual consent.
