Environmental lesson at Meander

At the end of October, GreenKidz guest teacher Remyson Caldera gave an interactive lesson about plastic and recycling to the Meander preschoolers. In the open air, the preschoolers learned playfully how to recycle plastic bottles with the help of the miniature recycling unit of GreenKidz.

In the GreenKidz lessons, experimental learning is central So all the preschoolers could practise which plastic and aluminium objects could be thrown into the recycling unit by looking for the recycling marks on bottles and cans and shoving these objects into the right category.

The GreenKidz Foundation was established in 2015 with the goal of ‘Changing the mindset of generations’. In recent years we have reached thousands of students and hundreds of teachers with modern, multilingual environmental education. In the coming years we will focus on young people throughout the Dutch Caribbean with innovative nature and environmental education and (digital) learning programs.
